For homes with one or two single-family residences. Ontario: 0.5% to $55,000, 1% to $250,000, 1.5% to $400,000, 2% to $2 million, 2.5% above. Toronto uses the same brackets to $3 million, then 4.4% to 8.6% on higher-value homes (rates from April 1, 2026). Refund eligibility has conditions; your lawyer confirms the final figure.
